Donation Policy


Donations made to the Lackawanna Citizens’ Overwatch Project support investigative research, public records requests, community outreach, documentation review, and related advocacy efforts.


LCOP is currently a community advocacy initiative and is not a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization unless otherwise stated. 


All donations are voluntary and are generally non-refundable. If a donation error occurs, donors may contact us within 7 days for review.


Funds may be used for:

  • Public records request fees 
  • Legal consultation 
  • Research and documentation analysis 
  • Community education efforts 
  • Administrative and operational expenses
     

We are committed to responsible and transparent use of funds.


 

Community Participation Policy


LCOP welcomes information, documentation, and community input.

However:

  • Submissions must not contain defamatory, threatening, or knowingly false statements. 
  • Submitters are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide. 
  • LCOP reserves the right to edit, remove, or decline to publish submitted materials.
